Today, we bring difficult but necessary news about the next steps for our company. After much technical and financial reflection, we are announcing the official closure of our Artificial Intelligence development sector (AI Studio) and the end of all investments in the subsidiary Vanelton AI.
The essence of Vanelton Media has always been very clear: we want to deliver top-tier products and experiences at affordable prices, always below the market average. However, the development of our own AI technologies has proven to be a challenge with exorbitant operational and infrastructure costs.
To continue with Vanelton AI, we had two options: pass this high cost on to you, making our products inaccessible, or drastically sacrifice the quality of what we deliver to reduce costs. Neither of these options is aligned with our values. We will not launch products that do not meet our standard of excellence, and we refuse to charge unfair prices to our community.
What happens to BootBot and Lia?
We know that many of you were closely following these projects. BootBot and Lia will not be canceled, but will continue to be developed as separate products from the old Vanelton AI infrastructure.
To ensure they remain viable within our current reality and pricing structure, it’s important to be transparent: both will undergo significant transformations soon and will not have the same level of complexity and scope as initially planned. The original plans have changed, but the commitment to delivering something useful and well-made remains.
We fully understand that this news generates frustration and sadness—feelings that our team also shares in discontinuing a project in which we have invested so much effort and passion.
We sincerely apologize for the broken expectations. This decision, although painful, was made to ensure that Vanelton Media remains healthy and focused on creating incredible and accessible projects for all of you.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for continuing with us.
