At Vanelton Media, we don’t just adapt to the rules; we build the solutions. We are very proud to announce the launch of our own AI-powered facial verification system, fully integrated into the Vanelton ID ecosystem.

This is a milestone for our platform, designed to ensure that our spaces are safe, that humans are validated as humans, and that the distinction between adult and minor accounts is made accurately and responsibly.

Why did we develop our own technology?

As a technology company founded in Brazil, Vanelton Media strictly adheres to local legislation. Therefore, verification is now mandatory for all global users, regardless of their country of residence.

Instead of outsourcing this responsibility to external platforms—which would generate very high initial and long-term costs, impacting our ecosystem and, consequently, our users—we decided to create the solution in-house. Developing our own infrastructure ensures that we maintain the sustainability of our services while offering a state-of-the-art security barrier.

How Verification Works (and why we’re transparent about your data)
The process is designed to be quick and require the minimum necessary. In the verifier, you will find three image submission options:

• Standard face photo (Required) *
• Close-up face photo (Required) *
• Photo holding an identification document (Optional)

For your account to be approved, the AI ​​needs to confirm your identity in at least two submitted photos.

Our Radical Commitment to Privacy:
We value absolute transparency. Photos submitted to our verification system are not saved in our database under any circumstances. They are transmitted in encrypted form only to our Artificial Intelligence API provider (OpenAI) for real-time analysis, and then discarded from our servers.

An important recommendation from our team: As OpenAI has its own privacy policies (which may or may not include the temporary retention of images for training its own models), we strongly suggest that you only submit the two mandatory face photos. Avoid submitting the optional photo with your ID. This ensures your approval in the system while maintaining an extra layer of personal privacy.

What if the AI ​​makes a mistake? (Infinite Attempts and Human Review)
We know that algorithms are not perfect. Poor lighting or a different angle can cause the AI ​​to deny verification. At Vanelton Media, we don’t believe in unfair rejections.

If your verification is denied, you have the right to multiple and unlimited attempts. You can redo the process as many times as necessary to correct any system errors.

If the automated system continues to fail repeatedly, you will not be left without support. We offer a Manual Approval option, which can be requested via email at verifyid@vaneltonmedia.com.

Timelines and Requirements: The manual review is conducted by our team and can take up to 20 business days to complete (approved or denied).

For this process, we may require you to submit photos from additional angles and possibly official documentation.

Privacy maintained: As with the automated system, the data and images submitted via email for manual verification are not saved in our database after the process is complete.
